Rachel's Tears - Trailer

Coming soon, an unseen storyline from Seasons 1 and 2 of Prep School Blues, featuring an alternate ending to the series!

Have you ever had a best friend?  Someone you could tell everything to?  What if that friend betrayed you?  Watch the untold story of Jack and Rachel's rivalry for the man they both love.  What's his name?  Come on.  I'll give you three guesses.

Watch the trailer below...

More Jack and Larsen (Updates!)

We last left our beloved boys together for the very first time, walking down a country road towards the setting sun, the memory of their gentle first kiss still fresh in their minds.  This tender but uncertain happiness may or may not last beyond this single perfect moment....

What does the future hold for Jack and Larsen?

I've gotten a lot of posts, comments and emails asking the same thing: "Will there be a season 4 of Prep School Blues?"  Unfortunately, the answer is: No.

However, this story is far from over.  Although we currently do not have the financial resources at this time to shoot a fourth season of web based episodes, my business partner Kevin Hooper and I (Chris Conner), are still developing a brand new PSB Project.

Kevin and I are hoping to expand the format to an hour long dramatic comedy, re-tool the characters and maybe even reboot the story.  All of these ideas are currently on the table and there is a potential draft for a new PSB script that I've already written.  This draft definitely puts the focus on the relationship of the two characters Jack and Larsen.  So depending on money, time, audience interest, etc.  expect to see development on the future of PSB coming in the next few months posted on this blog.

Thanks again for watching and supporting PSB.  If any of you out there want to contribute to our continuing productions or simply get to know our creative team, don't hesitate to contact us at prepschoolblues@gmail.com

Stalemating (Spinoff Alert!)

Very early news on this, but there is a PSB spinoff in the works.  Right now in the development phase, the new project "Stalemating" would follow star crossed lovers Fareed and Gabrielle as they run away to New York City in order to escape Fareed's controlling Muslim parents.  A year later, their relationship's teetering on the brink and there's already trouble in paradise when bad girl Cecelia Chang shows up in town to wreak a little revenge of her own.

Would you watch a PSB spinoff?  Holler back and maybe you can help make "Stalemating" a reality.

The Demon Lady - Official Trailer

The Demon Lady, an original short by Chris Conner, explores the coming of age and sexual awakening of a young boy in repressive Victorian England through supernatural Gothic imagery in a haunting portrait of adolescent desire and the dark side of human passion. Watch the official trailer now below and on YouTube!

PSB Deleted Scene: Jack and Fareed

In this deleted scene from Season 3, Fareed threatens Jack, mistakenly believing that Jack is romantically involved with Gabrielle.   I love this scene, particularly the hilarious comic timing of Nick and Habeeb with this little case of misunderstandings.  However, there just wasn't time to fit it into the episodes.  Enjoy this comic moment from the PSB archive!

Keep watching PSB! Love, Chris.

PSB Extended Scenes

Two extended scenes from Prep School Blues. Sometimes scenes have to be trimmed to make the episode flow better or fit the ten minute youtube time limit (Episodes 6 and 9 are two parters). A lot of times the actors do some really hilarious improvisations and it hurts to cut some of those moments, so here they are.

From PSB Season 3 Episode 8: Lunch Dates. More footage of Larsen and Fareed's high conversation in Larsen's bedroom. I really love this scene because it's one of the few times you get to see into their friendship and it's a fun side of Larsen as opposed to the heavier dramatic stuff in Season 3.

In this extended scene from Season Two Episode 5: Romeo Oh Romeo, Rachel daydreams about Jack asking her to prom and kissing her. This version shows more of their fantasy conversation and more of the kiss. I think this gives more insight into Rachel's unrequited feelings for Jack and the vulnerability that Alyssa portrayed so beautifully throughout the series. Plus it's cute to see Jack being just as awkward "straight" as he is "gay".

Thanks for watching!

Official Trailer for "Home"

After over a year, we finally have a trailer for Hunter Shaw's new independent film "Home", starring PSB's own Sara Smaltz (Gabrielle) and Andrew Fanelli (Edgar). In Shaw's groundbreaking experimental work, Smaltz and Fanelli play incestuous step-siblings on a southern plantation. And that only begins to describe this truly original film!

From the official video description: ""A first look at "HOME" the new motion picture by Hunter Shaw, a 45-minute video narrative presented by Chappaqua Pictures and Abject Renaissance Entertainment. At its core, "HOME" is a dark satire about race, guns, and money in America. It chisels deep into the American psyche, only to mock and exploit the repugnant attitudes and characteristics buried there. A bitter and surreal portrait of the American Family, "HOME" is rendered in a bold, over-stylized manner that matches the faux-elegance of its characters and their bourgeois lifestyle. At once corrosive, ridiculous, horrifying, and amusing, "HOME" is a spectacle that you may not enjoy, but you will never forget." - A.R.

Interestingly enough, I actually met Fanelli on the set of Hunter Shaw's "Trouble" and asked him to play Edgar on the set of "Home". So this is a bit of PSB history right there.

The film also stars the phenomenal and always fabulous transexual model/actress Sophia Lamar!

Virgin Deadly

Revenge is a kiss!  Check out my trilogy of experimental films from NYU: The Saga of Virgin Deadly, featuring Emily King, William Goulet Kean, Nicole Pursell and Bryan Dechart (Larsen from PSB).

The most dangerous woman in the world, the stylish, sexy Virgin Deadly works for the top secret organization known as The Silence.  Frequently butting heads with her deliciously debonair nemesis/love interest Lucifer Jones, the always elusive Agent Deadly never misses a mark...or does she?

In Part One, Virgin Deadly engages in a battle of wits and fists with the mysterious Lucifer Jones.  But when all is said and done, who is the real winner?

In Part Two, Lucifer is taken hostage by Virgin's wicked twin sister, Harlot Deadly.  Virgin goes out to rescue Lucifer from Harlot's clutches, but can she save her own heart from being stolen by a man she's sworn to hate?

In Part Three, Virgin Deadly, having undergone radical plastic surgery, is living as a housewife with her husband Gabriel (Bryan Dechart from Prep School Blues).  But the return of Lucifer Jones sheds light on her supposedly domestic bliss and Virgin Deadly must make one final choice for her freedom...

Bizarre. Intense. Erotic. That's the world of Virgin Deadly.  Hope you enjoy.

Make a Difference in the Philippines

Hey everybody, aside from working on Prep School Blues, I also do video work for worldwide charity organizations to help needy children, especially in my family's home country of the Philippines.  There are many people in the Philippines who could use your help right now!

Here's my testimonial from the Christ Church website and also a promotional film I made to raise money for the scholarship program that sends poor children to school...

Chris Conner Meets Joey John
in the Philippines

"I met this 10-year-old kid Joey John. He was hording all these little cookies in his pockets, it was so adorable. So I went to the local store and bought all the cookies and candies (for about 5 bucks) they had and distributed them to all the kids in the church (about 40). Joey looked at me and said something in Tagalog. Translated it was: "Can you buy us Christmas presents too?"

"Well, I really wanted to, but I realized the only gift I could give to this sassy kid was an education, so I requested to Grandpa that I be able to sponsor Joey as a (Christ Church) scholar. "I later found out he was being raised by his elderly grandmother, so I feel very happy that I am able to help them out. It gives me so much joy to connect with the people of the Philippines, to get involved with their personal lives and struggles. I hope I can come back again soon." - Chris

Hey everybody, check out Bryan Dechart's new webseries O-CAST coming soon to o-cast.com

Created and produced by Bryan Dechart and Anne Richmond, O-Cast © is a mockumentary-style webseries created by the 12 Olympian gods of Greek mythology to broadcast their new lives as 20-something New Yorkers living in one apartment. Comedy ensues as they combine forces to convince the mortals of their modern relevance in order to save themselves from extinction.

Shot in high-definition and broadcast in short episodes online, O-Cast © merges ancient legend with the power of viral video. Created and produced by New York University graduates of the YouTube generation, this intelligent, quick paced, and colorful comedy is right up the alley of classical mythology enthusiasts and fans of improvised humor.

For those of you in the New York City area, make sure to attend the O-Cast Olympian Orgy Party and help promote the show as well as meet cast and crew members.  Information Below:
